He pretty much does ALOT of the maintaining the property and I can see why he likes being there!! Lol Definitely a place to go for peace and quiet and even on the lake was pretty good!! Not ALOT of people on it!! Thank you!!!...
"The property was very nice but there were no breakfast or lunch options for guests who stayed there during the day. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the restaurant for dinner was delicious. "
"We absolutely loved our stay at Brookside Motor Inn! It had everything we needed for our weekend hike. It’s cute, affordable, and quiet. Will definitely be staying again!"

Saranac Lake is adorable and well-kept. We enjoyed walking around the oldtime sidewalks and the rail trail. The town has older buildings and reminded me of the 1960s, in a good way: quiet but pretty. Easy to park. We ate out twice and enjoyed both.

You can go in winter, but you'd probably have a better time during any other season than winter. It's really cold out! The area is walkable, but you won't want to during the really cold months.

Nice quaint little town. Summer, lots to do such as hiking and kayaking. Winter - ski areas in close proximity, but you do have to drive to the area.

The area is very touristy, although more people were at Lake Placid eight miles away. Beautiful old cottages on the lake.

"This is a full service hotel.
Coffee and granola bars in the lobby in the morning, cookies and lemonade in the afternoon.
A water fountain to fill your water bottles.
Cozy seats everywhere for games and drinks.
Towels at every pool (2 indoor, 2 outdoor).
Kayaks, peddle boats, and paddle boards at the lake front are included.
Excellent bathroom amenities with high flow showers.
It is not cheap to stay there, but the facility leaves you satisfied that you received what you paid for. "
"The property is perfectly and centrally located. The grounds are kept gorgeous by staff. I have to shout out your front desk staff , Christiana . She was absolutely fantastic. After hitting a deer on the Northway heading to the Adirondacks she was so comforting and reassuring and just all around pleasent. I can't thank her enough . 5 stars from me "
"Staff members checking in were super friendly and helpful. Staff members for complimentary breakfast were friendly greeting everyone who passed through. Room service was excellent as well. Overall great customer service here."
"Our stay at Prescott House was a delight. The house is unique, cozy, and welcoming! The onsite manager was friendly and available, and we had everything we needed. The large bathrooms are shared, but the doors can be locked for quick showers, and there are also a few private half-baths (and one private shower) scattered throughout the building. Our room was a little bit musty and had not been updated like some of the other rooms, but it was clean and very affordable and met all our needs. We appreciated the coffee station and porches, the window a/c unit for the hot nights, the opportunity to meet other guests, and the fascinating history of the house. I would be glad to return. Thank you!"
