"The property was very well appointed and maintained. Our suite was very nice, quiet and comfortable. We did not have a chance to try the hotel restaurant, although it looked very nice and had an appealing menu. The rooftop bar had many lounge chairs snd tables with seating, all of which offered a spectacular panoramic view of Main Street, Lake Placid and Mirror Lake. The hotel could greatly increase the foot traffic of the fabulous venue if they expanded their drinks menu which is limited, and offered small plate appetizers in addition to drinks. More experienced bartenders would also be a boost...the Apperol Spritz drink that I had that cost $17 had was undrinkable."

"The hotel was just right for myself &16 year old grandson's 3 day trip.We ate at restaurant several times,had spa treatments, he used weight room every day while i shopped in hotel gift shop or nearby stores.Lake Placid a short trip away with plenty of things to do as well."
