"On a recent, lengthy road trip across the country, this gem provided a large, spacious room with all the modern amenities in a beautiful, old building with history and soul. The staff was helpful and knew the answers to all my questions immediately. I even asked for some help in locating my car in the parking garage and a security agent walked me about the property until it was found.
The bell carts were always available, Andrew at the bar was a pleasure to talk with and made killer cocktails. An old soul sort of man. He knew his liquor and made thoughtful suggestions for us. All Hudson valley-ish. The ladies at the check-in counter were “can-do” sort of folks. One of them even gave me a small history lesson about the murals, the ceiling, and vaulted windows, and the 100 year old bones of this venerable building.
I soaked it all up. What a cool visit. Well worthwhile!"
