The Anchor is a village pub with some rooms at the back. We were in "Lavers" which, I suspect, is the smallest room but perfectly fine for the two of us. The room itself was immaculate, clean with good quality fittings and views over open countryside. We only had a small shower room but again well appointed.
Breakfast is do-it-yourself with a toaster and kettle in the room but there was fresh orange, bottled water, butter and milk ( real milk, not UHT) in the fridge, and cereals, bread and a...

Easy location to find. We had the two bedroom apartment and it was clean, warm and comfortable. Breakfast items provided and we had a lovely outlook onto a field with animals. Will stay again and recommend to our friends and family.

Wow! What an amazing two days. We stayed in the King Henry VIII Suite, which was such a fantastic experience. The restaurant meals were superb and all the staff were friendly and helpful.

The host was very helpful sending a lot of information before the trip and greeting us with more information and history of the Priory.
Well equipped apartment including a pint of milk.
Lovely out of the city location but only a short journey to see the Clifton suspension bridge and also the convenient park and ride.

Lovely little hide away hotel with a sweet little courtyard with very pleasant out door dining. Very efficient staff in the restuarant, excellent service, excellent food. Whole experience was a pleasure.
Only issue was we had to pay for overnight parking, which run out at 9am in the morning.

We had a great one night stay at Berwick Lodge on a a Monday to celebrate a birthday. The sun shone and the Housemartins flew happily around whilst we sat on the terrace having a cocktail.
The ร la carte menu was fantastic - well worth the cost and breakfast was very tasty.
Will definitely stay again in one of the other fantastic looking rooms.

โ FOREVER YOUNGโ. We stayed so we could attend the Rod Stewart concert at Ashton Gate. โI DONโT WANT TO TALK ABOUT ITโ but โ THERE WAS NEVER A DULL MOMENTโ
The Priory was very comfortable and all instructions were plain โ SAILING โ. THIS OLD HEART OF MINEโ wouldnโt mind living there! The Priory is a beautiful place, โEVERY PICTURE TELLS A STORYโ

Loved the lay out of the hotel. Very quirky and so very different to your normal/regular hotel. Great bar and food! Good part of town. Will definitely stay again!
Only downside, no parking. But Cabot Circus car park just 5 mins walk. ยฃ17.80 for 24 hours. Costly, but safe place to park. Dont bother with JustPark app. It is cheaper, but will send you to dodgy neighbourhoods.
