"I really loved the personalised service provided by the owner as it is a family owned hotel and they go above and beyond to make you feel like you're at home. Nice food for breakfast, the owner even took us into the city and assisted us during our stay. The rooms were very clean, comfortable and air conditioned. "The property is new, and the facilities are well maintained. The property is a bit inside of the main road, so spotting it might be a hassle. The rooms are actually very small in size, and that is an issue(for some, maybe).
Also the hotel doesn't allow food from outside(to promote their costly in-room dining facilities), which is a hassle.
Overall, the stay is awesome if we don't take into account the small rooms and no outside food policy. Have stayed for only one day, so can't really comment on the cleanliness on a day- to- day basis."
"LaLiT is a historic building, near the colonial seat of power when Calcutta was the capital of the British Raj. The traffic around the hotel is chaotic, not to mention crowded. But the staff were wonderful.
My husband and I enjoyed our stay, and will stay there again when we are next in Kolkata."
"This property is uncleand, dirty, unsafe, not ok at all as per value of money. Rooms are dustey, inconvenient, outside are is very much dustry and smelly. I still don't understand why u charged too much around 3845 for 2rooms. Toilets and bath rooms are nasty."
