The apartments are privately owned and then rented out to visitors - our apartment was a 1 bedroom with a lovely living/lounge/kitchen area with a parking space. We stayed for 3 nights - it has very good security and the grounds are very well kept - there is a pool area central to the apartment blocks - though there were no sun loungers or even seats so had to take our beach towels to sit on. We have stayed in many larger more expensive hotels, yes they may have more facilities however we have never come across such a great team of staff. Great area and property ! Travelled from the uk with family to Cape Town on holiday . Everything in apartment was fine except they could do with having fans or AC. Especially for those of us coming from colder climates not used to the heat there. Check in process could be better too . Overall safe area with a lot of security, it’s a gated community so you feel very safe .

Excellent apartment in Camps Bay with magnificent views from a large balcony. Free off street parking, very good Wi-Fi and very helpful management.

I was delighted when I arrived at Ocean View House. Everything, from the drive in to the room and hotel facilities, was lovely and far exceeded my expectations. Beautiful quiet hotel away from the hustle and bustle of the city centre but just a short ride away by Uber. The staff are exceptional and extremely helpful - especially Joy who always greeted us in the morning with a huge smile. There is a great choice on offer for breakfast and the food is really good. Would certainly recommend a stay here.

My husband and I spent nine days in beautiful St. James Manor. We booked through Expedia and expected a small room, but I think we were upgraded as our room (Boyes) was large and beautifully appointed, with a view of the sea. Stayed here due to work at CTICC and the Cruise Terminal. Hotel is literally 30 metres from the Conference Centre and only 10 minutes drive to the cruise terminal. Also has a shuttle to the V&A waterfront if you want to shop or see some restaurants. Staff excellent and restaurants and room service were good with varied menus.

Simply the best first night in a foreign country experience we've ever had. Jayne and Le Roux are the perfect people to work in hospitality and the attention to detail was unbelievably outstanding. The whole property is absolutely amazing and it's far more than just a hotel - the experiences offered from the meals to the wine tasting to the runner duck watching (has to be seen to be believed) are fantastic and they set the bar for the rest of our time in South Africa very high indeed.
