"Room was perfect. Only complaint with it, is would be nice if doors were better sound insulated as you can hear everyone that walks past talking and even heard cleaners at 10am hoovering the corridor etc. Also eventhough spa amenities close at 10pm, I was disappointed that at 9.28 they closed the Jacuzzi to empty it out, all amenities should close minimum 10 minutes before and atleast have some sort of warning by staff to be aware. Missed out on jacuzzi because of this."

"Room clean. Towels had seen better days. No face cloth. Only one teabag. No biscuits. No needle and thread either in room or at reception for emergency button repair. Breakfast was average with poor provisions and no fresh fruit. Staff all lovely. One lift rather elderly and not fully functional. Car park short walk away and whilst the car was ok, I was a bit nervous leaving it there all night."

"So upon arriving we didn’t realise that the spa wasn’t included in the already high price we paid , so paid another £40 to use the spa and pool , along with a further £100 as a holding deposit again not a problem just unexpected, once checked in we soon realised that this hotel was far from what we expected, to begin with the large luxury bed turned out to be 2 single beds and mattress pushed together, the room was really hot obviously not air conditioned, nor a fan in the room, so walked to reception asked for a fan , the receptionist explained that they don’t have any to hand but will try to find one , which credit to her she did but trouble was it was a builders style fan so really noisy,, then looking closer at room we noticed cobwebs, and faded headboard, and just a general grubby feel to the room in general, also the shower absolutely soaks the bathroom floor no matter what you do ,, there was a coffee machine in room yet no instructions on how to use ,also the lovely view they promised was far from what we got ,, after checking out the following day feeling very unrested and really disappointed with our stay I called the hotel spoke to management, who said they was aware of the 2 single beds pushed together, said they would look at cleanliness etc , and offered a 25% refund which quite frankly was insulting to say they least , with that was told that they would speak to head office and get back to me still waiting, so all I will say is if you’re thinking of booking dnt"

"Rooms need updated. Very unlike most of their “ sister “ properties. Bathrooms poor shape and windows filthy. Exterior grounds in need of desperate tidying weeds all over and poorly exterior grounds keeping. Very disappointed with this hotel .. “ Handpicked “ hotel group is known for much superior interiors and exteriors than this one. "
