"Didn’t get to have breakfast as were away before service commenced and nothing was offered on early request. Staff were friendly enough but with a jobs a job attitude. If you can remember Crossroads then give it a go "

"All the staff were helpful The Breakfast area has a gluten free station with bread rolls etc and a designated toaster Shame they don’t get their sausages from Tesco as they are GF but they cooked me veggie ones instead which was lovely. The food on the Restaurant was amazing - I’m not usually one to rave over food but the Sea Bass meal was delicious Was unaware I had to pay £6 to park which I felt was a bit steep on top of the room"

"Very convenient for early Southend airport departure. Restaurant however very basic. Chips clearly fried from frozen, etc. Rooms a bit dated. Nice big bed, but tiny tv on wall? Our sink would not drain. Clearly blocked pipes. When reported in the morning, the duty officer making the bog standard comment "oh, I will make a note", before turning back to whatever he was doing before. Forgotten already..."
