"A really nice boutique style hotel. Old, quaint, clean and comfortable. Part of its charm was also its only disadvantage - no lift to the upper floors. Carrying heavy suitcases wasn’t easy, but I’m sure a porter would have helped had we asked. Lovely stay and we would certainly recommend it. "

"We came back again but stayed for 2 nights this time. It was lovely. Very convenient especially that we went to a gig nearby at the Bristol electric which was very close. Momos at st Nicholas market are a must if you are visiting by the way. Staff as always very friendly. Quick and easy check in and out, all electronic....but think I prefer the meet and greet magic of meeting staff where you get the warmth of the experience of staying at a hotel rather then all electronic. That's my only crutch. Room was lovely, quiet and clean. Perfect location. "
