Tv antenna connection in room was broken. Everything else was perfect except for the noise from other guests, very loud and walls paper thin. Only an issue when they woke up at 6am

We were happy with our room. It was basic, nothing fancy. But it was clean and it was all we needed for one night. The shower was quite small.

This is a favourite of ours when we visit Ballarat. The hotel in lovely, using old facades with modern interiors to draw an inference to times gone by. The staff at check-in were lovely and were helpful in letting us know about local haunts and things to do. This hotel is great if you have kids, the rooms are spacious and there is a large grassed area for them to run around.

Right next to the Sovereign Hill tourist attraction. Friendly, helpful and accommodating staff. The tv reception was poor and they need to update the taps. Excellent cooked breakfast. Quiet location.

Convenience was great as we were visiting Sovereign Hills the next day. Other guests need to consider the design and age of building and be more aware of the self closing doors on entry to building and their rooms as they come and go. There is nothing to muffle the sound of self slamming doors. Staff were excellent on arrival and came to our aid when the tv did not work. Rectified immediately. Glass shelf in shower a bit dangerous with its positioning, so we took it out.

The staff were friendly. The breakfast was amazing. Loved the accessibility into Sovereign Hill itself. We did have an issue with our air con leaking first night, however staff were quick to help and issue a new room. Wish we could have stayed longer.

The staff were friendly with fantastic customer service. They were really accomodating, recommended a great place to have breakfast, and organised our passes for Sovereign Hill, with a back entry keypass so we didn't have to drive around. Very convenient with 2 little kids. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Parking was easy and accessible. The only negative was we could hear the people talking really loud in the room next door quite late at night, which you could get anywhere. For the price point, this accommodation was well worth it and we look forward fo staying here again in the future.

Great location, quiet spot with a nice view overlooking sovereign hill. Price was excellent, very clean and a good overnight option for us. The bed is really comfortable, the room is well proportioned and suits a couple well. The bathroom layout was ok, with fresh clean linen, the shower was just a bit small and on an angle, very little room to move in, love to see it upsized!

When we booked we didn't realise we would be staying in the superintendents quarters next to the military barracks at Sovereign Hill. The room was light and airy with great views. The beds were comfortable with great linen and inclusions like a coffee machine and hot chocolate were most welcome. The bathroom was renovated to a high standard in keeping with the building. You could buy tickets for Sovereign Hill and access the historical park from the venue. Lots of parking options. Great views. Good eating places just a short drive away. When we were there school children were staying at the military barracks and were no distraction for us. It was lovely to see them play. We hope to come again.

The rooms are located in its own building (depending on the rooms number). It is secure as you need a key card to enter the building and your room. The room and bathroom are spacious, adequate for our family of 3. The surrounding area is absolutely stunning. The staffs are friendly and overall experience is just amazing.
