Check in was very easy and front desk staff were very nice and helpful. The room I stayed in was a nice room with great light and view, however it was quite dirty. There were numerous marks all over the walls and handles, the carpet looked very dirty with stains, and there were sticky marks on the bedside tables. The shower had mold on the vent and in the actual shower walls. I also saw a squashed cockroach in the doorway on the wall of the bathroom. There also seemed to be a very odd smell in the hallways and in the room.

The room was big and the bed was comfortable. Everything was lovely and clean with a good shower and basic items were provided for the kitchen area. Unfortunately I was given a room at the back of the building so no views whatsoever. I opened the curtains to go out onto the balcony, expecting nice views, but there were two massive office blocks just a few feet away and I was completely overlooked. It is a very large building with three lifts, but only two were working so were very busy and for a couple of days there was only one available, which caused very long waits. Also, the cleaning staff with large trolleys used the same lifts and that meant not many people could get in at once. However, all the staff at Reception were charming, attentive and very helpful. It is in a good location and trams stop right outside the door. There are nearby restaurants and cafes and there is a shop on the ground floor. I would recommend this hotel.

Amazing spot, walking distance to main places in CBD, friendly staff but it needs to improve the cleanliness and the rooms definitely need a good renovations specially bathroom

Great access to the city. Clean rooms. Park across the road is great and markets a 3 min walk away. No pool unfortunately. Parking is a nightmare and costly.
