I did not understand why the toilet bowl was so close to the wall. you had to sit sideways. Room heating was excellent.

Amazing property, grounds and facilities
My family and I were so impressed with our stay, the property is absolutely stunning, our apartment was super comfortable and there were so many activities to keep us entertained. We've already booked to return in a couple of months. The staff were all extremely helpful.

Nice and clean hotel but without much perks
Was a lovely apartment and quite comfortable inside. I didn't like the fact we had to empty our own rubbish downstairs each day. I've never experienced this and felt it was bad service (or no service!). Very little amount of milk given and most extra food were extra costs, including internet and even movies. Am thankful we didn't stay there longer than a day really. Staff very friendly but they should at least get someone to help with baggage on check in.

Room is clean and spacious. It is well equipped for cooking. We enjoyed a short walk under the trees, boat paddling in the morning. A good place to recharge. Will definitely stay in this hotel again when I visit Ballarat again.

Great resort
The staff are very helpful and the room we had was a lounge / kitchen with a separate bedroom and bathroom.The original building was built around 150 years ago and is very beautiful the resort has a swimming pool spa and gym. The resort is owned by a time share company and they will offer you a free breakfast and a discount on your accommadation but you require to listen to a speel for around 90 min l did not bother attending.The only concern l would have is staying in summer as their is no airconditioning only fans and the rooms could become very stuffy. Late checkout at 12 pm is also really nice.

Great Family Hotel
Full kitchen and microwave makes life easy travelling with the kids. Lake, tennis court and paddling boats were great although there was so much to do we just didn't have time to use all the amenities. Kids loved the pool and table tennis. Rooms are great. Much more space than your usual hotel room and super clean with everything you could need. Would definitely stay there again.

A step into the past
I stayed just one night with my husband and I hope I get the opportunity to return for a longer stay. The old buildings have been restored beautiful and have character and comfort. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Much nicer than staying in a boring hotel.

Excellent stay and I like the natural surroundings. The estate has a long history, they maintain the heritage outlook and the rooms are very comfortable.

Quiet and spacious
Wonderful place to relax. Beautiful gardens and wonderful amenities. It had such charm. Only stayed one night. Wish it has been longer. Hope to be back!
