Our stay in May 2015 was amazing, there was 4 of us, one from UK, one from India, one from Oman and one from Indonesia, we are all good friends and often travel together. The hotel location is very good as it is only 2 km from the beach, but away from the hustle of the markets and built up city. I booked this hotel on Expedia and surprisingly found the hotel to exceed on our expectations. Hotel is constructed on more than 100 year old Portuguese building. Food was excellent. Hotel staff was very good and courteous. Ambience of the hotel is very good. Rooms are pool facing. Rooms and washroom are very big in size.

Within stepping distance of Vagator beach this is a slick, modern hotel, ideal for the young and wealthy set in beautiful grounds with palm trees and lawns. Spacious and luxurious rooms, and top-class service from naturally friendly staff. Rock pool swimming pool and bar has very loud music from around 5pm - maybe something a bit more chilled would be better. This is a very beautiful and considered place to stay. The mix of courtyards, the pool and the indoor spaces are wonderful. The bedrooms are charming and comfortable. The food offering is good but a little bit limited. The staff are very sweet and helpful.

A beautiful & quiet property in Moira which is perfect for a peaceful and relaxing stay. The private pool room was really good and the hotel architecture is great. Small hotel with excellent service. Food was great too!

This is a lovely heritage hotel in the Portuguese style set in beautiful tropical gardens. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful and there is a restaurant serving a variety of international food though you’d be missing out if you didn’t try the amazing Indian cookery on offer.

Great hotel. Clean and good size rooms. Has. Balcony.As per photos. Lovely infinity pool. Away from main street and quite but easy to get to places by walking or taxi. Beach and town 30 mins walk. Needed to ask for coffee sachets and white towels were not hotel soft or white but not stained but just dull and hard.

Stayed in this hotel a few times now. As per normal it is excellent. Near enough town if you want a little walk, beach short taxi away. Food in restaurant is amongst the best I have had in a hotel. You must have the Goan food.

Enjoyed the stay . Will go back to the same place. Nice and a very hospitable bar. Good pool bar. Very courteous and accomadating staff. Suggestion : book a room on the first floor sea facing. It has doors opening to the lawn and beach pathway. If out of budget, the garden view rooms on the first floor are the same and only a minute's walk to the beach path ( of course no beach view). Goa Marriott will be by first choice and I recommend it to all.

Excellent room, food, buffet breakfast, service and everything one would hope for in a stay.

Great hotel with what it effectively its own private beach. The staff were wonderful and so was the food. It really was amazing and we had a great time. It could be a bit quiet at night and there isn't much else around - although if you walk left along the beach there is a beach shack and another hotel both doing excellent food but at much cheaper rates (and the drinks are much cheaper too). The price of food and drink is extremely expensive by Indian standards, but fairly standard for UK...
