"The hotel set up is a little peculiar, with reception and guest rooms spread over different buildings within Dubai Old Village. But that just adds to the charm. The booked a Creek view room and loved it. The Creek view was a treat and the room offers a retro experience. I would certainly stay here again."

The Managers at the property Rahul and Anu are fantastic and make your stay comfortable while paying attention to detail. "Everything about this stay is a thumbs up! Sri on reception is most helpful and understanding to all your needs, he even arranged ice cubes in my room without my request, because I told him I had sore eyes! The cleanliness is immaculate. I was very impressed with the bath tiles and shower glass door. Thank you Yoleta! The breakfast is served at a restaurant next door. It is very nice, but I would just say it's not necessary to pay in advance with your room booking because there isn't a buffet, and so you can order up to 150 dirhams which is exactly what you pay if you reserve with your room. Better to see the menu first, and order a la carte that way you are pay for what you eat. There is a pay car park close to the hotel, it was very busy when I was there, so I had to park a little further away. The manager was lovely and gave me complimentary breakfast for the inconvenience which I really appreciated. He also said he is in the process of applying for a couple of spaces for hotel guests to use. Overall, I had a fabulous time and for sure I will stay again and again! "Everything was in order..great location..facilities etc.. however the hotel was let down by the front desk. We arrived after a 10 hour flight at 4.30am ( room booked for the night before) only to find room not ready!..had to wait 30 minutes..with various stories from the front desk...aircon not working was the first excuse...then the next was we are trying to get a sea view for you... just a very poor experience made worse by a rather agressive duty manager..who appeared from nowhere just so rude... they did offer to move rooms the next day but honestly at this stage we wete settled in. Then the same Guy checked us out after 3 nights..and quizzed us on why we had not taken up his offer to move rooms..the guy just would not let go..blah blah..had to say STOP..enough now...definately front desk re training required for both the clerk and the night manager. Other than this..a Great hotel.. with nostalgia."
