The hotel is amazing if you want to explore the city's traditional side and how the old people lived in their houses. The area is completely safe and has a lot of great dining options.

This hotel is beautifully designed with rustic style. Very clean, sitting in quiet but convenient location just next to the Creek. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is served with a lot of choices and variety. Very pleasant stay and wonderful experience. Definitely recommend.

Beautiful hotel in Old Dubai, felt like I was in an old village. Breakfast was superb with traditional and European foods. Bed comfy. The room was cold so they brought a heater. Id imagine most of the year this wouldnt be a problem.

While I eventually ended up in a good room, getting around the property was a complete nightmare. The hotel is NOT ideal for a one-night stay. When you don’t quite have your bearings, one has to rely on carts driven by a skeletal staff, with a 40 -minute wait time to move around. I was initially checked into a room with a strong smell of sewage - the porter informed me the that the smell was normal, before turning and closing the door behind him. When I insisted on being moved, I was left (stranded!) to wait for over 1 hour! The following day, it then took me over an hour to check out because - yet again - I was left waiting (stranded!) for a porter to arrive despite receiving several assurances that someone was on the way. On top of this, I struggled to place my breakfast order because the sound quality was poor over the phone and the person on the other end could not understand my order, which was frustrating. That said, I love the concept of the hotel and its historic/rustic feel. Sadly, the service and execution leaves much to be desired. I don’t think I would stay there again - it was too much of an inconvenience for a one-night stay after a 6-hour flight. I DO NOT recommend this place.

charming, atmospheric and comfortable. we stayed 25 dec, so maybe there were short staffed, but room was ready late and there were no coffee capsules in our room. we had two rooms, the other did have 2 capsules. our bathroom completely flooded during showering (it was an accessible one); the other room bathroom was much better. Other than that, all good. very comfy beds!

Found the property in a great area of Dubai. Unique setting on the creek. Touristy bur area encompasses the hotel. Full breakfast is incredible

Ancient style with modern comfort.
Beautifully decorarated. Located in the middle of an Arab souq (an open air market). Feels like you went 100 years back in a Time Machine. You enter room to a blast from the past. You open the windows and you can hear the hustle and bustle of the market. Close the windows and you are in complete silence with tv, a/c, hot water, and all the comforts of 2022. A great place to stay for a cultural experience in Dubai.
