"Very comfortable stay"
Had 4 rooms that were each comfortable and self contained which was very useful. Basic in decor but clean and warm. Plenty of parking on hotel grounds. Breakfast was lovely, buffet and full English, but other options were also available. The staff were friendly and very helpful, making it a pleasant stay indeed. Would definitely stay again and recommend to others

"Good overnight hotel."
A new hotel with just basic ammenities but reasonably priced, clean and staff were professional and courteous. 20 min walk to town centre. Good breakfast for a fair price. No real facilities for children but great for people looking for a basic place to stay for a night or two.

"Always stay at the Malmaison when I'm in Reading"
Whenever I'm in Reading, I always stay at the Malmaison (which is about 7-10 times a year). I absolutely love the eccentric rooms, as each one is different. The staff is always great and more than willing to help out. No need to say anything about the location as it's the best in Reading. And, the bar is great. Lots of interesting people are always showing up and the bartenders definitely take care of you. Tack on the Starbucks they recently added and you can have a reasonable priced breakfast before you head out each day (breakfasts in the restaurant can be kinda pricey if don't include them in your booking). Good job as always Mal.
