"Room was fine, a little on the small side. Overall it was fairly clean, but the back and the base of toilet needed a lot more attention. Hotel seemed quiet overall but the room doors slam very loudly. We arrived about 45 minutes before the standard check in time (3pm) and were told we’d have to pay $60 to check in early, so that was frustrating. Parking is $25/night so don’t bring a car unless you’re fine with this hefty additional charge, and if you do have a car, use the pull through lane by the lobby to stop for check in, don’t park in the lot - another person parked to come in for check in and was given a parking ticket in that short time! Gym is nice, but our daughter was disappointed there was no pool. "

"This was our first hotel stay in Vancouver. While the hotel was great, we did spend the extra money to get a hotel that was kid friendly and with a pool for the kids since we drove 7 hours in the car to get there. But sadly the pool was 4ft-6ft deep. It was not kid friendly. Having 1 baby and 2 toddlers, we unfortunately weren't able to make the pool work for us since it was too deep for my young kids. The location was great! Staff was super friendly when we asked if they had a playpen/cot for our infant and they did and had it brought up within 15 mins! We had a view of a parking lot mostly but the view was still nice to see the sunrise even from the north tower we were in. Parking wasn't hard to get to. Costco was a 5 min walk away. We went to Monster jam and it was a 10 minute drive from the hotel which is why we chose it. I kind of wish I had a detailed bill or any type of bill from the property though. I had a withdrawl from my account when I checked in to pay for the suit but the amount wasn't close to what I was quoted when I registered for it on Expedia, I might end up calling to ask about that. Again, I wish I had some type of bill to explain, I find it odd I didn't. But I've never stayed in a hotel before so maybe I needed to ask for one and that's on me ? Overall the location was close to everything that I'd consider staying there again, even if we aren't able to use the pool. "
