"Perfectly adequate room, worked great for our trip. Strange bathroom - the toilet was cut into the counter and set at an angle to the room, and the mirror was centered to the wall, not the sink, so I was shaving looking at the wooden border. Haven’t seen another one like it. Otherwise the place was just fine, no issues at all."

"Our stay was absolutely wonderful at the Lord Elgin in downtown Ottawa. The rooms are very nice and comfortable, very clean. Bar has excellent cocktails. But the best part for me is the valley parking. You have to pay extra for it, but it’s well worth every penny especially during the winter months. Looking forward to going back."

"There was renovation going on so at times it was noisy. We were given a 10 dollar breakfast coupon I believe to compensate? The view was spectacular and it was nice shopping in the Rideau Centre."
