"The room was very spacious and clean. Staff were friendly and helpful. The only minor complaint would be that the walls are not super soundproof so we heard music, TV, etc. from the neighbouring rooms. Thankfully not too disruptive but something to consider if you have a baby or young child. "

"The hotel itself is well-maintained and clean. The room was spacious and had a nice layout. That said, the check-in was an awful experience. We were told our room wouldn't be ready for two hours, which was fine, and that we could valet our car (with no self-parking option). But there were only 4 parking spots outside the hotel to valet and one valet working, so he wasn't able to keep up with moving cars out of those spots. We had to wait 20 minutes just to be able to drop off our car, as the road outside was one-lane and didn't allow for double parking or leaving your car in any other way. When we went in to leave our bags at the desk, other guests were being checked in to their rooms and there was suddenly a room available for us as well. The entire check-in seemed utterly disorganized and we likely won't stay at this hotel again purely for how badly organized the parking situation is. If you don't have on-site self-parking then a hotel needs to have a way of handling more than 4 vehicles at a time. "

"This is an hotel that is trying to come back from the ashes, it is doing it slowly. The location is convenient, there is a construction site next door, so it’s quite noisy from time to time. The rooms are quite tired, but they charge you exactly what you get, and for that reason I would recommend the hotel for people visiting Gatineau and Ottawa, it is convenient. Breakfast is not the best one, recommend to walk two blocks to the Starbucks that is nearby."

"Clean and well appointed suite. Centrally located and walkable to Parliament Hill, National Art Gallery, Mint, Byward Market, Sparks Street Mall, National War Memorial, etc. nice coffee shop in lobby."

"I liked everything about the property..location, staff, cleanliness, room. The only criticism I have is that you need privacy curtains, for privacy and of course darkness. When you face another condo building it’s imperative to have privacy."
