Couldn't connect my laptop to the internet. Air conditioner ran constantly. Coffee maker had to be placed on floor in order to access an outlet (elctrical system is antiquated). No employees on property for most of the day.

No elevator can be an issue if you have lots of luggage. Heating/AC unit can be tricky to figure out. Neighborhood is good, as a solo female traveller I feel comfortable. Nice food market on the next street over. Two blocks from subway. My first choice when visiting Toronto.

The room was smaller than I expected. It’s my fault for not knowing this property was located in the heart of the Gay Pride Festival but a heads up from the property would have been helpful. Also, didn’t realize there wouldn’t be any parking onsite.

The location is fine but the staff didn't infirm that they had not access this day to the hotel for some event on the streets are they were closed...I paid CA $42 en parking very far from the property and every 3 hours goingbto pay it, plus I should to change the car to another parking at night..plus pay $20 on the hotel for parking...plus, the room is disgusting!...the building has somewhat charming facade but horrific back!

HISTORIC CHARMER. I come back every summer for 3 day visit. This place never disappoints, friendly staff, accommodating with bag storage is a bonus before 4pm check in. Female travelling alone, never feel unsafe. Coded front door lock for late exit & Entry.

The place was so accessible from subways, restaurants, and other tourist spots in Toronto. It was beautiful, clean, and staff were accommodating and nice. The only thing I didn’t like, the room was not sound proof because you could hear noises from above your room. But overall it is a nice place.

I was just in the area for a concert and it was perfect. I’m a solo female traveller and I got a basement room for 1 and it was very clean and comfy. Cause it’s a converted mansion it felt very homey like it was my own bedroom in a house. I had some trouble with the wifi connection but I think that’s cause I was in the basement. They Utilized the space well, there was lots of shelf space in the bathroom and a big closet. I’m excited to return for future vacations!
