Friends that had also booked at the time we did, accepted an “upgrade” at a $75 more a night offer. Their room was no different from ours, yet they paid a great deal more to have immediate occupancy. So, perhaps, “buyer beware?” During our 6 day stay, I heard the same “upgrade” offer (made repeatedly to several guests). Maybe the upgrades were truly upgrades, but not so with our friends. The “push” Made me question Hilton’s professionalism. "

"We had a great time celebrating my husband’s 50th birthday from June 5–8! We traveled from Detroit and really enjoyed the hotel’s ambiance—especially the rooftop, which I was super excited about. It was also a plus having a really nice restaurant right inside the hotel. The only downside was parking. I prepaid $225 through SpotHero since it was cheaper than the hotel’s valet. But when we arrived, valet directed us to park in an area that wasn’t affiliated with SpotHero, and we ended up getting a ticket. Thankfully, the hotel stepped up and offered to cover it. So far, no surprise fees in the mail! Overall, despite that hiccup, we had a wonderful stay—and I would definitely stay there again."
