Excellent location for the adjacent Sawgrass Mills shopping centre, and also a convenient walk to Amerant Bank Arena. Reception staff very helpful, room a decent size with a very useful fridge (believe all rooms have a fridge). Nice and clean. Plenty of restaurants within a very short walk

We were at the end of our trip and budget and decided to go with a more cost effective hotel. We were blown away by the Renaissance - from the lovely scent as you enter reception, the efficient and speedy check-in, the comfortable bed and powerful shower and the swift check-out we would definitely stay again! Beautiful water views and the perfect location for shopping at Sawgrass Mills

We stayed for the first time this week for 3 nights. It was so peaceful and relaxing and not too busy. The staff were all so helpful and welcoming, which made it even nicer. The pools were clean and relaxing. The beach access was literally out the door. A few hours after arrival I received a text asking if we needed anything else, so I asked for another towel and to unlock the safe. Someone came to the room within 10 mins to get it sorted! All the staff I came into contact with were extremely professional and courteous. A credit to Marriott. Although I was only here for a very short time, I will definitely stay again. My only irritation is the automated telephone system. It took a lot of endeavour to speak to an actual person prior to my arrival. I only needed to arrange the shuttle pick up, but kept getting asked if a text message would do… please bring back real people to speak with.

Amazing place! Very clean and wonderfully decorated and maintained. John was really helpful and offered some good advice both about local amenities and transport options if you don’t have a car. All staff I met were friendly. Really can’t praise it enough!

We chose this hotel due to its location near to the cruise port. In this respect, it couldn’t have been better. The port entrance is a few hundred metres from the hotel. We used the port shuttle to get to the ship. $12 per person. The hotel is typical of the Aloft brand with its industrial style decor in the public area. Our room was spacious and comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful. There is a limited menu for breakfast and dinner, but staff at reception will suggest other places to eat...
