"I enjoyed the pool, the pool attendands keep up with clearing used towels, and the breakfast buffet was more than ample for the continental breakfast."

"Little things let this property down. We arrived after check in (4:00 pm), and had to wait a further 40 minutes before our room was ready. The mini bar is NOT refrigerated. When you arrive you find out that the contents of the mini bar are warm. You them have to go to the free ice stations and fill the ice bucket to cool the drinks. The toilet door does not have a runner to sit on and flaps around. There are NO coffee cups in the room. The only 2 glasses are in the ensuite. The rooms are quite large and the furniture reflects the era of the building, 1950's and 1960's, which is done quite well."

"The suite was a nice size, the kitchen was a lot larger than I anticipated, the shower was also nice, and I appreciated the gym on site. No complaints!"

"Staff were lovely, the rooms were clean and spacious. Property grounds are beautiful and the property is very well situated for restaurants and access into Old Scottsdale. "

"Room needed repair. Fan in bathroom was loose and see and made noise C when on. Rug was unraveling. Cabinet covering material coming loose. The breakfast the first morning apples had soft spots all over them. Second morning, the pastry seemed to be the leftovers from the day before. And the oranges had brown spots and were hard and there was no yogurt like the morning before. We ended up going down the road to get breakfast for the children. The day we checked in the motel room we had the refrigerator was broken, and the bathroom light flicked off on. The lady who was the desk clerk, was very gracious and immediately got us a different room, which I thought was very courteous. Don’t think that we will go there again."

"The breakfast menu was decent. The food was fresh. Air conditioning was excellent. The staff could use more personality. They were nice, but could be more pleasant."

"We checked in on Mother’s Day, the restaurant/bar closed two hours prior to check-in but the staff were very accommodating. Our room was very clean. The pool was refreshing and nice to sit by. The lake is not for swimming, but it is good for looking at and you can putt around on a pedal boat, kayak or canoe so that was a plus! They also have free bicycle rentals so you can explore around the property. They have fishing tackle you can use which we didn’t but while we were paddling around on the boat, we were able to witness multiple fish jump. It was a very nice day and a wonderful Mother’s Day,"

"WIFI access was not good at all, could not receive or make calls from our cell phones in the room-had to go outside. Otherwise was a very nice/quiet resort. "
