"Our stay at the Van Der Valk was fine. It is too far from the inner city so travel expenses were higher. My only complaint was that me and my friend took an $100 baking class and the staff threw it away when they cleaned our room. The food was in a bag on top of our table no where near the trash. The staff did NOTHING to help solve this, even though they told me they would contact me. "Staffs are very friendly to people with disabilities at the hotel. "

"Superb reception staff, but breakfast staff were a bit aloof and grumpy. Room service staff did not carry out two requests correctly. Beds were poorly made up. No female sanitary bags were provided. Breakfasts were well laid out and gave a lot of choice, but cooked items were not hot, and the plates were cold. The hotel itself was a very pleasant place to stay."
