Far and away my favourite hotel in central Amsterdam, for either business our tourism. Great location within easy walking distance of the main tourist areas but in a quieter location. Beautiful interiors, welcoming and friendly staff. Drinks and snacks in the blue room are a nice perk before and after a long day of business or sightseeing. Lovely hotel in a superb position. We booked a deluxe room and were located on the 5th floor overlooking the river. We had a super size balcony. The room was just perfect and the bed and pillows made for a very relaxing and comfortable sleep. The bathroom was a fantastic size with all the amenities .. full size bath and walk-in shower .. double sinks etc and the towels were extra large. We were at the Avani Museum Quarter hotel in August of this year for a weekend. Main purpose of travel was to visit Rijksmuseum and Van Gogh museum and this hotel was perfectly located being within few minutes walking distance. We had booked canal view rooms which were wonderful. Good selection of breakfast. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Special thanks to Nabeel at reception for all his help. I would certainly recommend this hotel.
