Efficient staff

Very nice hotel, nothing to fault.Maybe... you have to find your own breakfast and there is nothing available in the area until 10am at least. Clean, professional staff and good exercise getting to public transport, which takes you everywhere. Quiet area and lots of eating places for lunch, though I did not eat here. It was all in Chinese and workers did not want or can't speak English. I did not know what I would get. I had picked hotel randomly but if I came back to Taipei/Taiwan I would...

Okura group is always the best in quality of cleanliness, interior decoration of the hotel and the food of buffet breakfast and also the services provided at Wellness level. Brilliant.

Great visit convenient

We had a fantastic stay in this hotel. The lobby is very well designed and staff is very professional and friendly. We love the fact that we could get coffee and food in Starbucks. And it is super close to a MRT station and Taipei centre. Also, they provide gym and self service laundry. The view from our room is great. We were very pleased with the hotel and glad to stay there for our Taipei trip. Highly recommend if it fits your budget.

The Regent was in a great area, very close to the Zongahsan metro for the Red and Green lines which can take you to most of the major sites in Taipei. There are 2 7/11's next to the hotel and a laundry a 5 minute walk away (we did 2 full loads washed and tumble dried for the price of 1 pair of underwear at the hotel - just saying!) There are loads of restaurants, fast food places, shops and bars. The hotel itself is very nice for Taipei, but not as good as a 5 Star you'd get in another...

Room was clean and updated, very nice bathroom and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. It represented very good value. It is a smallish hotel and so did not have a bar, but the breakfast was a nice simple buffet which was included in the price
