"Staff was incredible and extremely courteous and helpful. I recommend this resort, especially during winter season, it still offers a wonderful view of the City, even in the fog and rain. "Hotel room was bigger and comfortable than what we would find in places closer to Ximending. What I really like is how the lights have been designed to provide just enough light for the night and dim enough to still find my way to the toilet. The hotel is about 5 mins walk to the Beitou MRT. Along the way you will pass a Family Mart and a 7 Eleven which is very convenient if you like to buy snacks. "

"If you like niche theme hotel then this is great. However, personally I thought it was a bit OTT, there are plenty of great things about the place and location but it had too much of a business feel rather than a family stay. The staff at check in wasnt the most helpful. I had lost a hat and enquired if it might have been mislaid there. The desk staff just ask for my passport and ID 3 times. Rather than saying, 'How can I help?' This gave me the feel that it is very business and formal environment. Would I stay again, probably not with loads of alternative options in the area."
