"I was booked for two nights but ended up leaving in the middle of the night. The room was extremely hot, stuffy, and quite small. It was on the first floor and we didn’t feel comfortable opening the windows, so there was no real way to cool it down. When I spoke to reception, I was told the AC wouldn’t be turned on until later in the month—even though it was around 70°F in Paris that day. The room was simply not livable, and after trying to manage it, we had to leave and book another hotel at our own expense. The receptionist took my details and said someone would follow up, but I never heard back. No apology, no attempt to make things right, and no refund—not even for one of the nights. This is the first time I’ve ever walked out of a hotel stay. I travel frequently (30–50 nights a year), and this was by far the worst experience I’ve had."

"Maids cleaned only the basics and didn’t always leave enough towels for 2 people. Breakfast was the same every day, including the inedible eggs. Fortunately everyone at the front was very helpful. The only redeeming factor of this dated hotel is its location. "

"We recently stayed at Le Lapin Blanc and overall had a very good experience. The room was clean and surprisingly spacious for Paris, and the bathroom was a great size. The staff was excellent—bilingual, very friendly, and always helpful. There were a few downsides. The lobby is extremely small and can feel cramped if more than a couple of people are there at once. While I liked the bathroom overall, I wasn’t a fan of the plastic, “porta potty”-style toilet (just a personal preference). The biggest issue was the elevator. It is extremely tiny—so small that my family of three with carry-on bags exceeded the weight limit. It also triggered claustrophobia for me, so we ended up taking the stairs for the rest of our stay, which was tough after long days of sightseeing. That said, the location is excellent—the room is well air conditioned and it’s an easy walk to Notre Dame Cathedral and other attractions."

"The location is phenomenal. I was in close walking distance to most of the events on my itinerary. There’s also a train station stop very close by. There’s a Louis Vuitton across the street and a great restaurant and cafes nearby. However the hotel is undergoing construction outside and it disrupts the view. There’s scaffolding that blocked my whole window and men banging on the outside. So I did not enjoy that aspect. I wasn’t happy with the cleanliness of my room ,finding things like someone’s false eyelash attached to the bedspread was disgusting. It’s definitely due for an upgrade inside as well. There were not outlets by the bed and the side tables didn’t open. The tub is very high to step into so if you have mobility issues beware. I wasn’t in the room much so I didn’t complain to staff. The staff on the other hand were top notch. No complaints. They were very helpful when I asked for recommendations or directions. Breakfast was an excellent start to the day. I would definitely recommend and stay again if they upgrade the inside a bit more. "
