L'Empire Paris

10/10 Excellent

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful throughout our visit. The location was excellent, just a 5-minute walk from the Louvre Museum, making it very convenient for sightseeing. The breakfast was also very good, with a nice selection of options. We would gladly stay here again and highly recommend it to others."

"Nice hotel. Perfect location to be able to explore some of the main areas in Paris. Rooms were generally clean, bed was very comfy. Just needs a bit of attention in terms of bathroom maintenance (some obvious mold starting between the glass shower panel and the bathroom counter which was off putting). Biggest let down for me was that there is no ice machine or water station available in the hotel which was not ideal for two 30+ degree days. But the AC worked very efficiently and cooled the room down perfectly for such a hot week which was amazing. Staff were helpful and friendly."

"It is the absolute best, unless you can afford the Ritz. Excellent location, close to Notre Dame, the Louvre, high end and more affordable budget shopping. Across the street, an excellent boulangerie to grab breakfast, multiple dinning options close by. Water and ice machines in every floor perfect after you have been walking in the sun all day long. Big comfortable rooms and bathrooms."

"Staff was super helpful and friendly in finding where to eat and rides. And with any questions that we had. They were always available to help with anything and everything we needed. Room and bathroom was spacious for our family of 3. Loved that they had a water and ice station to fill up before heading out for the day. Lobby was cute and comfy Location was excellent- close to all the major sites. 10 minute walk door to door to the Louvre. Bakery/Patisserie down the street on the corner was excellent- went for croissants- sandwiches- and sweet treats everyday. No need to travel to viral social media places. Great eateries walking distance. Yelp is helpful at finding them We would definitely come back- excellent overall experience and highly recommend."

"Great little hotel. Tiny room, with both air conditioning and an elevator (I was there during an heatwave, so the air was much appreciated). Great location right in the center of Paris. Châtelet is right next door, making it easy to take the RER to the airport, and line one is right by the Louvre, a few minutes walk. A coffee machine in the room would have been appreciated, but there is a coffee house right across the street, although it’s not open until 9 am. Very helpful staff, and they will certainly call a taxi for you. Restaurants and cafes everywhere, but do try and stay away from the cafe at L’arbre Sec, at the end of the street…if they suspect you’re a tourist, they will charge you twice the going rate for almost anything."

"Excellent location, friendly staff and quiet neighborhood for a good sleep at night! This is my 3rd time in Paris and I always choose to stay in this area. Although the room is small but that’s expected in Paris. We only stayed for 3 nights and that was fine with us. The room is clean and the shower is great! Overall we enjoyed staying here. Also there is always a staff at the front desk even at midnight. I think that was very nice"

"The bed was comfortable and the buffet breakfast was good. However the safe in my room did not work and I was unable to have a bath because no rubber plug was provided. The shower was not mounted on the wall and there was no shower curtain. I would have had to get down on my knees in the bath to shower! The Receptionist allowed me to use the shower in the adjacent room after the occupants had checked out."
