I travel a lot on business and this is the best hotel I have stayed at in some time! The room was extremely tastefully decorated, different than the major chains which all look the same after a while... perfectly clean, free wi-fi worked properly, the owner communicated via email very quickly and was extremely helpful for all of my requests. My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights to celebrate my birthday. Staff were exceptionally helpful. We arrived late in the evening and they quickly helped us arrange dinner somewhere nearby. We had a beautiful room overlooking the Dom. The hotel is located perfectly for the train station. Thank you to all the staff who also gave me a birthday card and cake.

A truly impressive 5***** Hotel in a small town called Bensberg, about 30 min from Cologne by Tram, (Tram Station) approximately a 5 minute walk from the Hotel. Our recent stay at the Altoff Grandhotel Schloss Bensberg was more than satisfying. Brilliant friendly English speaking staff, always with a professional attitude and accommodate your every requirement. Fantastic large luxurious rooms. This is surely a Grandhotel making your stay a truly unique experience.

If travelling to the Christmas markets this hotel is the perfect spot situated at the entrance of the best Christmas market in cologne and 5 minutes from the cathedral market 8 minutes from train station and the land train stops right outside the door fabulous

Room was very clean, staff very helpful. A great stay overall.

I loved the aesthetic of this hotel. Staff really helpful and friendly at check in. Great aircon, comfortable bed and really quiet. Good supermarket one side, Asian restaurant the other and bars opposite with tables outside. Lovely communal area on ground floor of hotel if you preferred that. Was easy to walk to the cathedral and old town but a bit away from the hectic tourist bustle. Loved it!

Very good rooms, clean and what I expected. We were a family of 4, split over 2 rooms. Good beds. Good sleep and central location. Haribo shop, Lego store and Dunkin Donuts all next door! Unfortunately the car did not fit into their parking because of the 2m height restriction (we had a roof box for holiday purposes).
