"I really enjoyed this hotel - it is an experience! The rooms are comfortable, almost luxurious….the breakfast buffet is amazing, they have a nice spa/sauna, and a reasonable (albeit just essentials) gym. The neighborhood is quiet, so no noise, and easy walking distance to parts of Cologne.
Note: the front desk is rarely staffed, which is a key gap in case of emergency needs or scheduling changes."

"I recently stayed at the Ahl Marketzeen Hotel, and it is truly a mixed bag.
The Best Part: The location is unbeatable. It is right in the heart of the city, making it incredibly easy to walk to most major attractions and local shops. If being central is your top priority, this is a solid choice.
The Downside: The building itself is quite old and feels outdated. You can tell it hasn't been renovated in a while—the decor is a bit tired, and the facilities are showing significant signs of wear...
