"We enjoyed this property, it was very cool and very unique, the location was perfect. We loved all the interactive items in the lobby. Very nice place to hang out. The room was large and well appointed. Beer, soda, and snacks were provided in the room for free. They provided a nice bag that you could use for shopping, etc while you stayed. We loved all the uniqueness. The bed was comfortable the shower hot, it was a very good stay. Why I didn't rate perfect 5. There were stains on the carpet in common areas and some of the props and interactive items, probably need some sprucing up. Also, one of the reason we chose this property was for the electric car parking and charging and it was broken. Would stay here again."

"Only stayed one night here. Parking is in the public parking area underground, so I was not 100% comfortable leaving anything in the car. The Hotel is walkable to the Dome and the shopping district, but just barely. Room was adequate for one night. "

"I had a wonderful 1-night stay at the Maternushaus. The location was perfect, within walking distance from the Cologne main train station (Köln Hauptbahnhof). The facility was very clean, and, while not fancy by any means, it had all that I needed: a very clean single room with private bathroom and a comfortable bed, TV, several electric outlets, good WiFi, etc. The included breakfast was excellent, and there's also a free drinking water station. The staff was very kind and helpful. Above all, I was very thankful for an onsite chapel with 24x7 perpetual Adoration."
