very friendly staff! I had to check in at 3pm, but I didnt have anywhere to go since I arrived too early to Amsterdam, staff were very friendly and allowed me to leave my luggage there earlier.

Clean room, friendly staff, in the heart of the red light district. Close to all amenities. Would definitely stay again

Excellent location . Near to the train station, sightseeing, red light, so many shops

Best hotel I have ever stayed at, couldn’t recommend it enough, would keep coming back over and over again. Friendly staff with great breakfast options.

Close to the Central Station so a handy location for the eurostar. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Great base if your happy to walk (or cycle) to the main attractions. I was on the 2nd floor on the corner and outside noise was not issue. At points you can hear the trams rumbling but I didn't find it intrusive. They have a fun little bar that does great cocktails!

The best welcome ever, the receptionist a blond lady were super helpful, 10/10 in knowledge, I had to book for the sauna and gym and the girls were super helpful at that time. I enjoy greatfully of every premise that the hotel provides. Sauna and spa 10/10 gym and clases 10/10. Small details in the room always matter, snacks in the fridge, coffe for your morning, conditioner, shampoo and bodywash from local premises are just a sparkling inside of my room. 10/10 in cleanliness. Definitely I’m...

Super hotel, greal location. Staff amazing, young Ruben very helpfull throughout stay. Good size room, spotlessley clean, very quiet also. Highly recommend.

Far and away my favourite hotel in central Amsterdam, for either business our tourism. Great location within easy walking distance of the main tourist areas but in a quieter location. Beautiful interiors, welcoming and friendly staff. Drinks and snacks in the blue room are a nice perk before and after a long day of business or sightseeing. Only downside of this is it seems the word is out about this gem and booking well in advance is now essential, I had to stay elsewhere for half of my recent...

They are very warm and friendly, they always greet you with a warm smile and always there to help their guests. Their professionalism and attentiveness truly made me feel valued as a guest. Amazing vibe & atmosphere. Loved everything 🙂

Location is excellent. Staff v. Helpful

Staff were excellent, nothing was too much trouble for them. Real quirky hotel, totally different from anything I have stayed in before, but in a good way. Free wine hour in the early evening! would totally recommend this hotel.

Second year in a row staying at Jan Luyken with my wife. We love it, over ten years coming to Amsterdam and we now know for sure where we are staying every time.

Really lovely hotel in a lovely location
