"Our entire family of 5 was so impressed by everythig about the Royal Haciendas experience. Our room was a 2 bedroom family suite and had everything we needed and much more. The room location was perfect and right across from one of the children's play pools and close to the main lobby and market. The food at every location we tried was delicious and service was impeccable. The staff take pride in what they do and go out of their way to welcome you "home". We can't wait to come back! "

"Really enjoyed my stay here. I booked a swim out room, and thankful I did. Was nice waking up every morning and having the ability to jump right into the pool. Room itself was very spacious. Bed was comfortable, and the furniture was simple, but worked. Didn't feel trendy or dated. I dined at the 2 of the restaurants and did the buffet. I've read a lot of complaints about the food, and honestly, nothing I had was bad. On the same note, nothing also really stood out. I used the room service feature, and the wait time was about 45 minutes, so please keep that in mind if you are famished. Staff were professional and courteous. I went in the season of sea weed, so the beach was not accessible (I travel to Mexico often, so this is not a surprise to me. Please research when this happens so you are not caught off guard by it). I have only 2 minor complaints. The first, is I am an early riser. So I had to wait till about 730/0800 to get my swim time in as they were doing the maintenance on the pools (not dinging them for this, as this is very much a resort that has an active night life). The second is the remoteness of this location. My excursions that I booked, I was in the cab/vans a lot due to being the first one being picked up (e.g. I booked a Chichen Itza tour, and left at 0700, and got back at 2330). So if you plan to do any long excursions, look at spending the extra money and do it exclusive). I had a lot of fun and would stay here again."

"Our stay at Wyndham Alltra Playa del Carmen for my partner’s 60th birthday was truly memorable! The resort is gorgeous, the food was consistently delicious, and our upgraded oceanfront room gave us front-row seats to the full moon shimmering over the ocean — pure magic. We had a bump at the start with elevator issues, but the hotel manager completely turned things around. He went above and beyond to ensure we felt special and celebrated — personally checking in on us at the pool, at restaurants and shows, and throughout the resort. His kindness and attention made a lasting impression. Other than a few mosquitoes and tropical critters, the rest of our stay was relaxing, romantic, and filled with great service. We’d absolutely return and recommend it to anyone looking for a beautiful adults-only getaway!"

"The staff and everything was AMAZING! Everyone was super friendly and we had an amazing time. However, our shower would not drain which resulted in our entire bathroom floor to be flooded. And our jacuzzi didn’t work either, so just be mindful of that. Overall, I would absolutely go here again!"
