This is a lovely old hotel, not a cookie-cutter chain. It doesn't have the shiny crispness of a new hotel, but it has charm and character. They truly treat their guests as guests. The staff are as friendly and helpful as one wants. The location is just two short blocks from Pioneer Square with cafes, restaurants, shopping and public transport.

We got 2 rooms between 5 of us and we all loved it. The beds and pillows were comfy! Very clean and the service was great! When we checked in we got complimentary sodas and water and I thought that was a nice touch.
