"Our room (with the balcony and partial view of the ocean) was excellent; clean, comfortable, quiet and had very nice and helpful room service. We ate several times at the hotel's restaurant. They make very good omelets for breakfast and offer excellent deserts. Dinner choices are rather limited, but you probably can find something that will satisfy your hunger: cheeseburger or sandwich. We found the front desc and concierge services very satisfactory. My grandson enjoyed exercising in the gym. Overall: relatively small hotel with comfortable rooms and very helpful staff. Hope, we will stay there again."

"Staff and location were brilliant The hotel itself is need of a revamp was very dated The aircon in our sounded like an old diesel engine But once I told reception about this an engineer was sent .The problem couldn’t be fixed so was given another room. Overall if you want a no frills hotel with a good location to Santa Monica pier area this would be ideal "

"They put us on the 3rd floor right next to the lobby, and baggage carts. The first room on the left, with a pool view. The music was so loud till 10pm maybe, which was whatever but then the baggage carts being slammed into the wall all morning starting around 625am left a lot to be desired. Not sure I’d recommend staying here. Cool location though."
