"The staff were all very pleasant and polite. Typical mid-range hotel breakfast; everything was fine. There is a supermarket across the street and there are lots of moderately-priced restaurants within walking distance. Steps away, I went to a Mediterranean restaurant (no one could agree which cuisine they meant) that had a comedy improv night. My only comment is that the rooms are not quite as nice as a those in nearby BW attached to a bowling alley. But the rates at this one are a little lower and it is on Ventura Blvd and close to highway exits. Balance your priorities."

The room was clean, but a little bit worn out and tired. Soundproofing was not great and there is major construction across the road that woke me up early every morning. "
