"Beautiful property with priceless views. The on-site restaurant also offered a nice light lunch. The pool area could have been spruced up a bit with some better furniture, but the room was beautiful. Be careful when using the shower as well as it is easy for the water to spray onto the floor. Make sure you understand where the property is located before booking as it is quite a ways outside of Florence city center. I rented a car and drove through the Tuscan hills to arrive."

"We visited four very different parts of Italy and our stay at Fattoria Lavacchio may have been our favorite. One important thing to know that was a little tricky to figure out was that you check-in at “Casabella”. The property belonging to Fattoria Lavacchio includes multiple buildings spread along 1km or so of the road. Our room ended up being an apartment about 300m from Casabella (the building in the pictures here with the pool). There was not traditional a/c but we didn’t need it with the fans and air coolers they provided. We also loved sleeping with the windows wide open and no need for screens because no bugs!! Even in the hottest part of the summer!! We love star gazing at night, cooking class overlooking the winery, horseback riding, and dinner on the patio by the pool. We also enjoyed the breakfast with fresh juices and jams made there at Fattoria Lavacchio. They also make their own olive oil. We felt very relaxed and refreshed after our visit there. Wish we could have stayed longer!"

"Gorgeous place, amazing views. They overbooked dinner and we had a wait of 2 hours for our food to come out. Pool was amazing and there was two to choose from, one looked quieter. Main part of the building is 15th century, which was beautiful. Easy to find with google maps NOT Apple Maps. Plenty of parking."

"This property was nice. We enjoyed our two nights in a home on property. The home was a little dated but overall nice. Getting to Florence was a bit challenging, due to the property being in an isolated area. On the weekends there are only two busses that so by the property... one in the morning and one at night, so plan accordingly."

"This estate is absolutely stunning. It is very upscale as reflected by the attentive staff and condition of the grounds and villa in which we stayed. The decor of the main house and the villa in which we stayed was so elegant. The two pools were beautiful, the restaurant was magnificent. Whatever you wanted, you received. They offer several different experiences for those interested such as cooking classes, horseback riding and massages. They have a winery and offer tastings and tours. They have hiking paths throughout the estate. This was honestly one of the best places I have ever been. Perfection in my experience. I would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a place to unwind and vacate while experiencing Tuscany’s finest. I will definitely be back again. "
