One of the best concierge and customer service teams I have ever encountered anywhere in the world. From booking dinners to recommending activities even at short notice. Hotel, quality, room and breakfast were also excellent with no complaints.

Statyed for 5 nights and had an amazing time. On arrival we were met at the door by the hotel staff and checked in, all with a glass of Prosecco. The room was lovely and a good size, with a TV projecting from behind the large mirror. The bed was comfy and the shower amazing. The breakfasts were lovely, with a good selection and all cooked well. You were presented with a tray of several different things but could ask for anything else you wanted. We paid high rates for a Junior Suite in a top hotel and the unexpected upgrade provided 'excellence and perfection'.
It was a concern however that the pillows on the settee had 'pictures of dogs'. Was this the suite for specified small handbag sized canines as mentioned in the brochure? As a person allergic to dog hair I kept out of the area!
Breakfast provided a wide variety and sufficient to eat but the quality of the fruit was disappointing - it was lacking variety which was out of...

Very pleased with our hotel, it had both character and a touch of luxury! Beautiful dining room also where we had breakfast, but service could certainly be improved there. Still it would not put us off staying here again when we return to Florence.

We have travelled all over the world and have to say our 4 day trip to Florence was fantastic and made even better by the hotel, the room and the staff could not have been better. Nothing we asked of them was a problem no matter how small and the hotel location is perfect.

Superb hotel with lovely staff. The breakfast was sublime as was the service, just as you would expect from a five star hotel.
Reasonably well priced given the service levels and certainly on par with the very best out there!

Very conveniently located & I doubt wether you could stay in a more beautiful hotel in Florence for the price. The room we stayed in was big, the buffet breakfast was impressive and the staff were nothing short of exceptional when it came to customer service. Recommend this hotel to anyone.

Reception staff efficient and polite. Booked standard room but stayed in larger room /suite which would be ok for family. Bed a little hard would be only criticism. Ideal location. Rooftop bar a sun trap.

Located through a huge arched doorway into a small courtyard, the lift up to the reception on the second floor is on your right. We arrived slightly early but were able to check in straight away - we even got an upgrade to a superior room. The staff were very welcoming and the hotel extremely comfortable. The sheets were the best I've had in any hotel! There was even a turn-down service if you wanted it. The rooms were well equipped. Oodles of toiletries, although no shower gel. However, soap...

Hotel is beautiful. Staff, exceptionally friendly, especially Fabien, the bar waiter! Room (delux) was quaint, quite small, but lovely and clean. Room also had an excellent coffee maker. Result. Loads of beautiful winding streets, outstanding architecture and loads of fab cafés and resturants all within seconds of the hotel. Thoroughly recommend this hotel!

Booked the Ponte Vecchio Suites and Spa based on previous user ratings - and I was not disappointed.
On arrival the staff were friendly and very helpful - check-in process was great. We were shown to the suite which was bigger and better appointed than I was expecting. Clean, airy and light. Sofa, dining table and chairs, kitchenette, bathroom with rainfall shower, huge bed (one of the most comfortable hotel beds I have slept in!). My husband and I had a fantastic stay at the Grand Hotel Minerva. The location is minutes from the train station on a lovely pedestrianised piazza, and walking distance to the main attractions. The staff were so welcoming and helpful throughout our stay - we hadn’t booked tickets to the sights but they managed to get us tickets for the Accademia to see the statue of David. Breakfast was fabulous, running until 10.30 on Saturday and 11am on Sunday, so no need to rush out of bed. We spent a lot...
