The building is a little old and the elevator situation can be a mess sometimes but the staff, the breakfast upstairs, the views, the tiki bar downstairs, and all the extras we get for staying at this hotel, make up for it. "We have stayed here at least 1/2 dozen times before. This time was absolutely terrible. Loud construction going on at the adult pool which lasted ALL day which were never made aware of prior to booking. Staff couldn’t be bothered at times and gave the worst overall service we have ever had in Waikiki. The bar staff at the Edge bar was actually downright rude at times. We were really disappointed this time and won’t be staying there again. There are better places to go spend your money. "
