"When we arrived, we were told that parking was $42 a day. Sticker shock: we did not read the fine print. Then we had trouble entering and exiting the parking lot. It was a nightmare for 2 days. The manager, Nick, was apologetic, gave me his cell, and said that if we needed anything, we needed to contact him. He then never charged us for parking for the rest of our stay. Staff was amazing, kind, and helpful. The swimming pool was great. Great location for restaurants and shopping. It is the nearest Hotel to go to the North Shores. Free breakfast every morning with great selections for families."

"We had a beautiful stay overall, Breakfast was great! They had staff preparing eggs to order, There were also yogurts, pancakes, fresh fruit, and plenty of other options for the kids, which we really appreciated as a family. Unfortunately, the evening snacks and drinks were underwhelming. One night, they offered nachos, but the chips were stale, and they ran out of cheese so quickly that I had to ask for more. It took a very long time for them to replenish it, which was disappointing.The pool amenities were lovely, and I was very pleased that fresh towels were always available. However, the biggest highlight of our stay was the pool staff, especially Auto! He was incredibly kind, polite, and attentive to our family. He went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, offering helpful recommendations for food &beaches. His kindness and hospitality truly stood out, and he deserves recognition (and a raise!) for the wonderful service he provides. We are so grateful for how generous and helpful he was to our family. The hotel’s location is another huge plus. It’s right in front of a beautiful beach, making it perfect for families with young children. My biggest disappointment was the valet staff. We paid for our own parking through our rental car company, and the staff seemed noticeably bothered by this. when we addressed their lack of courtesy, they asked whether we had given them a tip and suggested they would have been more courteous interaction left a very negative impression"

"This was our first trip to Hawai’i and we were so glad we chose the Outrigger Reef Waikiki! I first want to mention the Hawaiian music from local artists that occurred in the Kani Ka Pila Grill, the front bar and restaurant area. You could sit at a table or the bar area to listen or also enjoy the music from the beautiful pool area. The other restaurant, Monkeypod Kitchen, also had live music daily, as well as delicious food and Mai Tais. All of the staff we met were friendly and helpful, and the hotel is located right on the beach. Everyday there are cultural activities available, such as bamboo print making, that you can try out if you would like. Choosing this hotel made our stay in Oahu perfect and we’re so glad we did!"

"Amazing stay at Ilikai Hotel & Luxury Suites! The room was comfortable, the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and the valet parking service was excellent. Everything was wonderful, and we had a great experience with our family. Highly recommend and would love to stay again!"
