We stayed at this hotel in July 2024. Location of the hotel is good, convenient access to everywhere. But breakfast was not good at all. Room service was terrible. I don’t recommend this hotel.

Good stay - room was great for manhattan at the price. Breakfast included but often too crowded and quite limited. 24th is not the best street at night but it’s just off 6th and a short walk to flatiron, Empire State, and easy subway from 24th.

Hotel staff were amazing! So helpful and kind. We were there for my husband to have surgery and they went out of their way to make sure he was comfortable and we had was needed! The only draw back was the exercise room was in the cellar and the treadmill made it so my back was to the door. That made me very nervous and uncomfortable. If a mirror was places so I could see if someone came it would have made a huge difference.

We have stayed at this property many times over the years . It is not the same place it once was . The property has one dimly lit Hampton Inn sign . Three flood lights and all landscaping lights were out . The breakfast was so poorly done , I stopped going . They use to have fresh baked cookies in the afternoon, gone . Room service was every other day . For the price the value is not there .

Overall things were as expected, high price for the quality of the hotel and room, but expected in NYC and for the location (which was very convenient by subway stops!). What brought my review down was the fact that when I booked on Expedia it guaranteed free change or cancellation prior to midnight the day before check in but when we called into the hotel they did not honor that and said it was 24 hours prior to check in — stating that it’s known that the hotel and Expedia’s policies are different, which is pretty unacceptable to me. We changed our plans around to keep the reservation as-is, in fear that when we finally talked to a manager or had the case handled 72 hours later it wouldn’t be honored, and it created some distrust with Expedia’s policy overall which is disappointing. Aside from that, the hotel facilities were good (although older and worn) — the beds were comfy and the a/c worked and the included breakfast fed our children well. They were quick to fix a leaky sink and give us a late checkout which was appreciated. I’m not sure we’d stay there again for the price, but overall were satisfied.
