I felt like this Hampton was the best hotel I’ve ever stayed at in the city. This was one of the only hotels with 2 queen beds and there was plenty of space in the room (so unlike most NYC hotels). I read previous complaints about the elevators and a busy breakfast. I was there 5 days and we never had to wait for the elevators. And, there was always plenty of sitting room for breakfast. The staff always greeted you when you walked in and told you to have a good day when you left. The location was amazing. There are 2 subway stops just one block away and another one two blocks away. You can get wherever you need to with a 1-2 block walk around the corner. The neighborhood was quiet and I felt safe walking back from the subway at night. Great hotel and amazing location.

One of two elevators did not function and the last time the working elevator was inspected was, according to the certificate, fairly long ago. The room could also have had a chair worthy of sitting in. The staff was, however very helpful and knowledgeable. We have noticed in the last three Hamptons in which we have stayed, that the rooms have had only dilapidated desk chairs. Having a place to sit and read is an important feature to my spouse.

Property is going through a remodel. Great price and location. Tv didn’t work but it wasn’t too much of an issue since I wasn’t in the room that often. Staff is amazing though. Was able to check in earlier than expected. Staff was very kind and welcoming . Free breakfast but is an option that i didn’t take advantage of as well. I’m sure once the remodel is complete it will give the patrons a better experience.

Hotel met our standards of Hampton Inns we've stayed in the past. Staff was friendly and dealt with any issues. The elevators had problems a couple times while we were there (for a week), and both times, repairs were going quickly, and the elevators were back in service in not too long. Cleaning service was really great, and every day. Location was great, breakfast was great too.
