Great value hotel with all the facilities you need. It was clean, things worked well, staff were friendly. It was also very easy to travel to and from there with the subway nearby, lots of cabs and restaurants / bars walkable. Not too loud for NYC but good location.

I honestly don’t know who’s writing all these positive reviews. This hotel is a dump. Elevator doors that don’t open all the way, elevator buttons that don’t light up, HVAC unit in the room so noisy had to pull the plug on it, and when I did, the whole thing fell apart. The drain in the tub was so slow that I found myself in a race to finish my shower before the tub overflowed. The mattress was shot, the room worn and not all that clean. For $300 a night, this hotel is an embarrassment and total rip off.

The property was located in a nice and convenient location. Minutes away from the Empire State Building, shopping was convenient, multiple dining options and very close to coffee shops and park. The hotel staff was very nice and helpful during our stay. I would stay at the Hampton again. ,

Nothing terrible to say but overall, lackluster and slightly worn; I think I might have done better, just as the property could make more of an effort, at least cosmetically. Who wants to be greeted by an ATM machine?
