"A bit of a culture change for the uninitiated, but this hotel is incredible. The staff are super friendly and helpful. Breakfasts are just lovely and served in a traditional environment that sets you up for the day. Wish we could have stayed for longer."

"The hotel is not the most convenient to Hakuba town, but it is quite and there is a shuttle to two ski resorts (limited to three times a day, each way).
The breakfast is a great way to start the day and the onsen is a nice place to relax after a day of skiing.
The rooms are vintage charm, but the staff are so very friendly."
