Our room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. The location was also perfect—there were at least two train stations nearby and plenty of restaurants within walking distance. "The hotel was brand new, with lovely wooden floors and decor. Check in was easy and welcoming and location is close to shops, restaurants and Ueno station. The room is a large open space (we had three people in the flower room). There was also a portable cooking hob if you need to do simple cooking. We thought it was great value for the busy season we were in Tokyo. There wasn’t much to fault, only one minor things which may have made the stay even better- another option for pillow (although...

"The rooms were well designed and good for purpose. The location was better than expected as I thought maybe a tad far from Ueno (12 mins walk), but closer station Ueno-Okachimmachi, 3 mins away, actually has more convenient connections. We intend to return to same room next year. Staff were very welcoming"

"We had an excellent stay at Nohga Hotel Ueno. The location is unmatched. Just a short walk from Ueno Station, which made getting around Tokyo incredibly convenient. It was easy to hop on the JR lines or the subway, and the neighborhood itself has a lot to offer, from great restaurants and cafés to Ueno Park and several museums nearby."

"The location was very close to Akihabara station so a good jumping off point for exploring Tokyo. It was very quiet inside the hotel and on the streets at night. Lots of convenient food marts and eateries nearby. Ueno park is within easy walking distance or transit line. The rooms are well set up, not a lot of excess space but bag storage is under the bed platform. I'd definitely stay there again. Cozy pajames supplied. It was a good starting point for our trip to Japan."
