"Very spacious apartment, we got the lock-off so had 1 full kitchen and 1 small but still full kitchen (electric rings, no oven). Lots of storage space, room to sit/sleep/play/rest and the bathrooms were huge. The property was very clean, but tired. There were lights out around our building, making it difficult to find the right apartment when we arrived late at night; sealant in the bathroom was not replaced well and both the closet doors and rail fell off as soon as I touched them. The fridge in the studio was also very noisy and had to be unplugged."

"This place was one of the best hotel stays we’ve had in a long time. It has this really cool 40’s roadtrip vibe that just gives you a peaceful feeling. They paid a lot of attention to details when they last updated this place, too. The shower was amazing, the sink and coffee area was a nice touch, as were the mid-century chairs and table. The best part was hands down the bed, though! It was seriously like sleeping on a cloud. The sheets and comforter were so soft, and the mattress was firm enough to support your weight, but also soft to feel like a hug. The best, most special part of the experience was finding a vintage radio and cassette tape in the room. They have their own box set of music for you to enjoy on your stay. It warmed my Gen X heart and was an unexpected, joyful touch. There is also a wonderful restaurant and cocktail lounge there, as well as a well-appointed general store. If we ever make it back to Flagstaff, we will absolutely spend more time at the High Country Motor Lodge. "
