Good breakfast, excellent location, room was basic but the layout perfect for us. Room was quite warm a d couldn't adjust thermostat but we cracked open the window and it was much more comfortable. Great location convenient to so much in London.

I liked the location of the hotel, it was very central and there were some nice restaurants opposite. The staff on reception were friendly on check in and check out. I thought the interior was in some disrepair though and quite dated. I had booked a King Size room and when I checked in was told I had been upgraded to the King Size...when I got to the room it was two single beds pushed together which did not hold very well at night so really I just slept in a single bed. The bedside tables were built in and designed for a twin room so the one on the left hand side was too far away from the bed once the beds had been pushed together. I don't think it should be called a King Size room...I didn't get what I paid for. The décor was chipped and shabby and the headboards definitely needed replacing. I found the bathroom too small. The bath with overhead shower was very small and had a shower curtain which just stuck to me the whole time and the shower head did not come far enough out so I could barely get under it.

Non-existent access to TV news.
I thought the room was adequate and clean but I hated the fact that the TV in the room did not provide BBC NEWS or SKY NEWS even though this was advertised on the screen menu. Some of us like to watch TV news on a large screen. There were no Freeview channels either. Only crap stations nobody wants. It may seem like a minor fault but when you are travelling alone a TV that works is a necessary requirement.
