Checked in fine, room ok, flowery bedding a bit of a put off as can hard marks and stains etc, stupid little tv mounted on the wall pretty much behind the door is the worst possible place it could be. Coffee and milk in room ok. Breakfast doesn’t start until 7:30 which is really annoying as I was leaving at 7

The Classic is situated off the main road with a driveway in front of the hotels along a stretch of Sussex Gardens, so useful for unloading bags and for taxis to draw up direct to the entrance. We were even able to get parking outside the next door hotel, for the 3 days we were there, organised by Amees. Reception, cleaning and catering staff were cheerful and helpful and efficient. Inclusive breakfast good value, scrambled eggs soft and fresh, dining room clean. Amees actually managed to get a desk built for my husband to use his computer during the day. Very nice check-out by Nayeem. Thank you Classic!

London Visit

A short weekend visit in London staying at Classic Hotell. I know prices are high in London but! Hotel overpriced staying in a tiny room (6 sqm) with no sofa/ chair to sit and enjoy your coffee/ bear and watch television etc. A tiny (computer screen) TV at the end of the bed, it was only space for a bed. The room was tiny with almost no space to put your bag and a tiny bathroom/ shower. The room was not suitable to sit and relax or sit and do some work (if needed) it was only for sleeping. Breakfast is served in a tiny lounge in the basement with few seats, and ordinary/ typical breakfast with cereal/ eggs and toast, coffee and tea. There is no restaurant at hotel so dining has to be elsewhere in the neighbourhood with many restaurants available, or travel to the city centre for other restaurants etc. Its more like a backpackers than a hotel. For the same price you will get a "normal" hotel room. The Area is ok with many restaurants and close to Paddington station, 7-10 minutes walk, with makes it easy to commute to other parts of London and the Airport. From Paddington you can take the underground to the whole of London fairly easy by changing between the different lines. Also access to national train-lines, and to and from LHR airport (20 min) £22 you can also use the underground to LHR. London has many tourist attraction to offer along Thames and other places so there is no problem to spend the day out of the hotel and just come back for sleeping.

Grubby not been cleaned

This is a really basic hotel - it's a room with a cupboard doing an impression of a bathroom. The room was tired and grubby and the floor was rotten and looked like it hadn't been cleaned at all this year! The shower was cold and they told us there would be no breakfast served due to covid!?? So the breakfast we'd paid for, we didn't get! The walls were so thin that we could here every noise from the family staying in the next room. If you want to literally just have somewhere to lay your head this is ok otherwise stay somewhere else. Surprised Hotels.com advertise this hotel!!

Good for the price

For the price the beds were nice, comfortable and clean But the bathroom was a joke, the toilet leaked and although I reported it ,it wasn’t sorted, so we had to put towels on the floor and the hot water took about 10 minutes to come through. The shower had a horrible rusty shower hose and shower shelves

Booked in on Friday 27th Aug and just what I expected from a 2* hotel. friendly staff, no breakfast due to Covid.....Wait other places are open!!!! Good location and plenty of places to eat.

This is a brilliant little budget hotel, guy on reception friendly and helpful and the room was massive! Only complaint was being charged £15 to park on the completely empty road outside which the guy put straight in his pocket!

Very Nice stay in the familyroom on top floor. Only bad thing, the Windows was in a very bad condition. Overall lovely stay with my sister, mother and grandmother.

Bello lo stile classico, camera tripla un po' piccola, colazione molto buona. Nel complesso servizi non eccelsi ma essenziali. Ottima la posizione a 5 minuti da Paddington Station. Unica nota negativa il dover aspettare 10 minuti fuori dall'Hotel una sera alle 20 in quanto il personale della reception era momentaneamente uscito. Ma stia scherzando?

Customer service deserves full 5 stars! Good location. Nice breakfast. One should take into consideration that this hotel has steep stairs, very narrow and soft beds, poor isolation from windows and door. However, a good choice among hotels in this class and this location.
