"This area is really starting to build up. There is a small ski area. An Italian restaurant and 110 grill right on that road. About 15 min away Applebees. A lot of pizza and Mexican. Winter not only is there skiing there are a lot of snowmobile trails. Summer there are water falls you can see. Tubing you can do. The mountains are beautiful. Quiet and relaxing. "

"Hotel is going through a renovation which makes the place a little rougher than it’s used to be. No parking or limited parking at entrance of hotel. Valet parking personnel were parking cars on entrance round entrance and in the mourning, they were towing those cars from the property. Not a good look or feel for those staying there. Maybe in six months or a year down the line, hotel will come back to its glory. Today still needs lots of work. "

"Everything was clean and comfortable the host at the desk was kind, helpful and friendly. Only issues the ice and soda vending room had no vending machines. Cleaning staff left my door open by about and inch or two and thankfully all was well. "I had not visited the Ponds for 30 years. It has not gracefully aged. Condo unit has not been updated since it was built in the early 70s and it shows. Drafty and slightly damaged doors, slow drains in the bathrooms, furniture and rugs that show damage and age, and a clubhouse in need of updating. Front desk staff not very friendly or useful, odd because they don’t have a lot of foot traffic this time of the season. There are other similar facilities in the area that might be worth exploring versus this tired old place."
