Tons of stores on this super busy street. I patronized Walmart and Dunkin Donuts during my stay. You will find anything you need on this street. Also, there is a Bingo Hall a few blocks away that I visited and enjoyed myself.

Laurel is a nice place. The hotel was not nice and the service was bad . You have people living there making a lot of noise.

I lived in laurel for over 4 years and my family still stays in laurel.
"Loved this hotel. Extremely historic, clean, smells good and right across from the capital and close to the water and stores. My new place to stay when in this area. "
"We were a party of 9 and had 3 rooms and were all very pleased. The only down side was that we asked for rooms close to each other and they could not provide that, even though we asked a couple days in advanced. Such a large hotel could have at least put us on the same side and probably the same floor. Other than that the staff was kind, hotel was very clean and beautiful. We loved it and would definitely stay again next time we visit. "
