"Great location — one of the best parts of our stay. The hotel was close to everything we needed, and the free parking was a big bonus. The parking spaces were also noticeably wider than what you usually find at San Francisco hotels, which made parking much easier. Our room was quiet, very spacious, and comfortable, which helped us settle in right away. Unfortunately, our experience changed when our car was broken into overnight, along with four other vehicles in the parking lot. When we reported it, the front desk agent seemed unfazed and offered minimal assistance. We had to specifically ask just to get the police phone number. Azi Riahi, the Assistant General Manager, was the highlight of the stay. She went above and beyond to help us tape up our broken window so we could safely drive home. Her kindness made a stressful situation much easier to manage. Overall: great location, comfortable rooms, and convenient parking, but serious concerns about parking lot security and the lack of support from the front desk."

"This is one of the dozen Motor Inns on the Western flat part of Lombard Street (it is the Crookedest Street in the World on the eastern side of Van Ness) in San Francisco, which is actually US 101 leading west and north up to the Golden Gate Bridge. The location is conenient, with many stores and shops on Union Street Cow Hallow area, and a few blocks down on Chestnut Street in the Marina District, and the Presidio and its many gems to the west. They are all older, most decades older, btu this one is well maintained, and a cut above the others that have a similar off-peak price of about $100/night, with free WiFi and Parking! Services was good, room amenities were standard, it was clean an organized, and the Free WiFi and adequate parking included, makes it a great value in SF, where most downtown hotels will cost you $300+/night and $40+ dollars overnight parking. This location is right on Lombard, a busy street, but most rooms are removed away from the street toward the back of the lot, so quieter. In room amenities are good and what you expect, but this isn't a high class DTSF Hotel Chain, it is an independently owned Motel. I got a king single room and free WiFi and Parking for $108 in April (Off Peak) with my $16 Hotels.com accumulated rewards. Good night sleep, convenient location to restaurants and bars and happy price in expensive San Francisco!"

"We plan on coming back again. The Motel is beautiful with all the plants and charm. The rooms were very clean and comfy. The bathrooms were great and a great area to walk around. My kids husband and I were very comfy."
